I'm so envious of people who come up with clever things. Case and point: my
Itzbeen timer. Got it in the mail yesterday.
See, you just push one of the buttons on the right and the timer next to it starts over. Nothing new here -- no new technology, no new concepts. Just a very smart design -- obviously from someone who has had children.
I used it last night, and it was SO nice. Instead of waking up at 3:30 and thinking, "Guhhhhh...how long has it been since Johanna nursed? When did she fall asleep?"...followed by some very challenging math..."I think she ate at 11:45 and it's 3:22 now, so carry the 8 and divide by pi..."
now all I have to do is look at my Itzbeen timer.
Turns out baby J eats every two & a half to two & 3/4 hours. Ugh. The good news is, I strongly suspect she'll eventually drop one of those feedings. At least...that's my hope.
Many thanks to
DaddyClay and Dadlabs for advertising this gizmo. I know I'm going to love it.
